What Is The Evidence For Stop Smoking Laser Treatments?

Is there any evidence that quit smoking laser works?

Any  medical treatment has to be supported by evidence before it is accepted by mainstream government and authorititative organisations as a solid reliable treatment that should be recommended to the general public. For new drugs, for example, the evidence has to be overwhelming that they work before organisations like the FDA accept their viability.

We have to say that we have not been able to find any solid independent scientific studies to support any conclusion that quit smoking laser therapies work.

Now of course the fact that there is no scientific evidence that they doesn’t prove that they don’t work. There is probably no scientific evidence that they don’t work either. It just means that no one to date has proven successfully in an accepted scientific study that laser treatment to stop smoking works for the majority of people.

And as laser treatment as an anti smoking measure is based on the principles of acupuncture, we should say we have also not seen any evidence that acupuncture works either as a reliable way to stop smoking.

Again, not proof that it doesn’t work, just that we haven’t seen any proof that it does work.

And the fact that we haven’t seen any proof that you can successfully kick your cigarette, or pipe, or cigar habit by laser therapy or acupuncture also doesn’t mean that there isn’t any proof, just that we haven’t seen it. And we should be fair and say that we have looked at a range of sources which also state that there is no scientific proof in support of laser treatment as a stop smoking aid.

So if you know of any studies where this has been rigorously and scientifically tested please let us know. Either studies that support the conclusion that laser treatments for smoking or for that matter acupuncture treatments to stop smoking do work, or don’t work. We’d like to know either way. Use our comments form to tell us about them and be sure to include a link to the study. More on What Is The Evidence For Stop Smoking Laser Treatments?

Some Testimonials From Quit Smoking Laser Customers

There seems to be a shortage of good evidence about the efficacy of laser quit therapy. Here’s something to suggest otherwise.

We have been hard pressed to find much, or indeed any, solid evidence about whether laser therapy to quit smoking actually works. However as we have pointed out that doesn’t mean that there is no evidence, just that we haven’t found it. And it seems from what we’ve read a lot of others haven’t been able to find it either.

Notwithstanding we’re not here to tell you laser quit therapy doesn’t work, or does. We’re just here to show you the arguments on either side.

So to be fair we include here a video that shows testimonials from people who have successfully used stop smoking laser treatment. Make up your own mind whether you think that this means it will work for you.
