I’ll Just Have One More Ciggy
Are you really giving up smoking if you’re “just having one more cigarette”?
If you’ve tried giving up you’ll know what it’s like.
I’ll just have one more and then I’ll be giving up. OR, I’m at a party so I’m allowed, if I just have one.
OR, perhaps if I just have a puff of hers that will be ok, it will only be a puff.
OR. I’ll cut down to one a day, once I’ve got that mastered then I’ll quit smoking for good.
We think you know the answer to those questions yourself.
If you’re smoking you’re smoking. One, a dozen, a hundred or a puff. You’re smoking if you have any.
What does “just one more” do? It puts off the inevitable, it just puts off the difficulty of quitting smoking. It puts nicotine back into your system and recharges it for another surge of withdrawals when the nicotine starts leaving your system.
Don’t give in to “just one more cigarette”, it’s a good way to stop giving up and start smoking again.
It IS possible to give up smoking successfully.Whether you’re looking to give up smoking by using quit smoking laser therapy, or nicotine patches, or nicotine gum, or any other stop smoking method, you’re not giving up if you’re still smoking. Don’t fool yourself that you are giving up the cigarettes if you have that “one more”.
